I live in a mountainous area, have been walking with my toddler to help with weight loss. Last year (not walking outside now, we have tons of snow) I pulled her in her wagon on our walks, but uphill it was very hard on my aging back. This year I'd like to try walking with a stroller. What is good one (please I can't afford $500 for a stroller) that would be able to handle varying terrain on our 4 mile walks? I have an issue with my Acer620U flatbed scanner.?

I just can't get it to work with my XP. When i install the Win98 version drivers from the CD it tell me they are not digitally signed. Searching on the net, I found an updated version of the Mirascan which I downloaded, When i try to start it, it tells me it cannot detect the hardware (which I have connected). The PC then claims it cannot find any drivers for the device. Even if they load, it stops and asks for the XP CD, then asks for TWAIN.dll drivers which I then load from the Hard drive. At the end of it all, it doesn't finish the installation, claiming, an error occurred. The pc also identifies the scanner as Flatbed scanner_13, but is unable to use the mirascan to make it functional. WHAT IS GOING ON? Do I need another driver?

Yes, many, many years ago I became close friends with my sons first grade teacher. (my son is now 32) She claimed to be a true animal lover of all sorts from dogs to cats to birds, etc. Anyway, the first time I went to her home, I wanted to puke. She had WAY more pets than she had originally told me in a tiny 800 sq. ft. home. Her house was so filthy and smelly that I just wanted to run out the door. The cat boxes weren't cleaned, both dog and cat poop on the floor, opened canned dog food that was never refrigerated. fleas everywhere, you name it. She took in so many of other peoples unwanted pets, due to her love of animals. It was really terrible. She was a very needy person and this must have filled her void somehow. Looking back at this decades later, I believe that she truly was a hoarder, and it was not to give these animals a better life, it was to fill her void of loneliness, among other issues she had.

Since he and our daughter are divorced, we aren't privy to his consultations with his oncologist and they only tell us what they hear and they are telling us it is endocarcinoma. I can't find that on the internet. Is this a cancer and since he has only a few weeks to live he wants the children, ages 8 and 11 to be with him until the end. We worry about how the disease will progress and whether the kids should be around to see terrible suffering or worse outbursts of rage from the pain. Sorry, but at age 18 the old gal probably isn't changing a thing. It is possible to train cats, but it's difficult and pretty much impossible by the time they reach the age of your roommate's cat. The only options you really have are to crate her or isolate her to a single room so she can't scratch on your door. Of course, if she's not happy with being isolated she may still make her presence known by meowing. I wish I could offer you more advice, but I really don't foresee that the cat will change. Maybe if you talk to your roommate, s/he would be willing to get up a little earlier to make sure the cat is taken care of to hopefully avoid the issue.

When my husband and I moved into a duplex together 8 years ago, there was a 3rd level offender that moved in shortly after that was directly behind us. American Airlines problem...?

I have a problem with my shower, is there anyone out there that i can get sme advise from?

I put in a tile shower in my bathroom. It had a tub origionally.I put !/2" durarock on the walls.Cut a trench in the slab and tied into the tub drain. I used a pvc liner kit for the pan. I used "Custom Blend packing mud from Home Depot" to make the pan,used thinset to set the tile in the pan and floor and wall mastic to set the tileon the walls. The grout joints on the wall were 1/4" .Used sanded grout to grout the shower because all of the joints were over 1/8". About a week after I used the shower for the first time I noticed some of the lower verticle joints looked like they were holding the moisture longer than the rest of the grout, not the pan joints just the walls, Now it looks like they aren't drying at all, they stay wet. It is only the first two rows that stay wet. I have put in several showers and never had this problem, even where ther were tubs. PLEASE HELP Jim

Riello natural gas burner locks out?

We have a Riello burner that keeps locking out. it will do the pre-purge, then ignite, and within 5 seconds it shuts down and locks out. Typically when we push the reset on it will run, but we are having to push the reset up to 5 times a day. We have been dealing with this for 2 years now, since we bought the home in 2009. The furnace gy that installed it warranties his work, so he comes by and tries to fix it and doesn't charge us a fee, but he has been trying to fix it for 2 years now. He even replace the entire Riello burner and it is doing the same thing. he has talked to the Riello company and has done everything they have told him, and yet it still doesn't work. We are at a loss and have no idea what to do. We are in maine and it gets very cold at night. in fact, as I type this, we are unable to get the furnacing running and it is 23 degrees outside. We are at our wits end and don't know who to call or who can help us. We have no money to pay anyone anything so that is why we stick with the same furnace guy and pray he fixes it. My mother, about 30+ years ago lost her first child as she was in labor at the hospital. She can only remember bits and pieces, and being labor and being at the hospital. The first time the nurses checked the baby's heart rate it was fine, the next time they went to check on it the baby was dead. I'm 5 months preganant and I know I will be petrified at the hospital. Can anyone tell me sources of information on the statistics on this, or else if it happened to you? No she never found out what happened because she was too upset at the time to deal with it. My mum now says she was way overdue (by like 3 or more weeks) at delivery but the doctor wouldn't listen to her

I rode a 125 off road dirt bike and I loved it! But on the streets? I'd want more power... Maybe a 500 or 750. (Also, for giggles look into a Suzuki RE-5) I am 19 years old. I have gotten stupid before in a car (never wrecked one though), and I've never wrecked a motorcycle after the first time a mini bike slid out from under me when I was about 7 (I rode away from that too). I consider myself a careful rider, but I think it's much better to have a metal cage around you (like in a car) unless you are very experienced on two wheels. Remember, on a motorcycle good front brakes (no "stoppies" or "endos" here people) and a little bit of rear brake applied (once again, with the rear wheel on the ground) in a straight line will save you before 200 horsepower ever will. But power is important as well in city or highway driving. Tires are ultimately your insurance on a motorcycle though... They give you your control. Get the best tires for all around grip (may take you your whole life). Never ride the oil slick, nor the tire trench in the rain (that's where the oil goes when it rolls off of the slick crown) and always brake in a straight line. Also, at high speeds, it's lean, not turn. Watch out for manhole covers. If you plan to race, my uncle always told me "The fast guys were always crashing... If you want to go fast and you never push the bike just past it's limit, you will never win... If you were fast but you didn't crash at least once every practice, you weren't riding hard enough." BMW's are nice.

What guitar is best for me?

I already posted this before but last time i was not specific enough. Ok, i'm looking for a new guitar with good clean pickups but also something thatl give me a crisp heavy System of a down sound that comes standard with the guitar. I was considering the Iceman 2 by ibanez (guitar played by Daron Malakian of SOAD) but i really love the gibson firebird tone and sound as well.
