What's a pit bull fighting ring?

They have a lot of dogs, usually pit bulls, who fight each other to the death. This is what Michael Vick did that got him in jail. It can be done for fun or for gambling, and is illegal and inhumane. Other dogs are allowed sometimes, I'm not sure why he chose your dog, most likely just to kill it because he hates it.
