Is that true HIV leaves the host body,HIV will be dead in a few seconds?
The HIV virus will die quickly when exposed to open air. A virus cannot resurrect once it is dead. It does not matter how it comes into contact with your body, after it has died it is no longer active and unable to live again. At any time when you come in contact with previously used needles, you are at a high risk of contracting whatever disease is in that blood. HIV being one of them. The needle can contain traces of blood inside of it, making the virus live longer because of its lesser exposure to air. One of the most common ways that people contract HIV is through the use of needles that are not sterilized/previously used. If this happened to you, you should immediately get tested for HIV and other viruses, wait 3 months and get tested again.
