Was this unprofessional?

Today i was at a lunch with my boss and some important potential clients. this was my first time meeting these clients and i was nervous coz they seemed very serious and my boss had said that they are important. So i figured I could get them to like us if i made them laugh, so, halfway through lunch i lifted up my leg and blew out a mive fart. Than i started laughing hysterically and fanning my arms to waft the smell around the table. I expected them to crack up laughing but they got offended and left! My boss was enraged with me and i dread seeing him to tomorow do you think he could fire me?
