Did Russia have UN authorization to invade Georgia like the coalition had before going into Iraq

No, they did not, and the entire world is on their case about it. I think we will end up being involved if this doesn't end soon because Georgia is an ally of ours and we need to stop Russia right now and right there because if they get away with this, what will they take next? They are sneaky snakes in the gr and I have the feeling old Vladamir Putin wants the greatness of the Soviet Union back. If we don't nip this in the bud, all of Europe will be threatened by Russia once again and that could lead to a really nasty war.
