Carlisle or Edward Cullen?

I'm gonna have to say Carlisle (that is if we're talking about the book because the movie sucked xP) Edward is so possesive of Bella and very protective, he just gets annoying after a while, yes I am a Jacob fan xD BUT Carlisle is SUPER hot in his own way, Edward is gorgeous but sucks as a character, perhaps if Stephanie Meyers does release Midnight Sun, I will like Edward that much more because I'll be able to see his side of the story.
