Why is there a huge schism when it comes to the Jets?

All the optimist like me think they can win the SB but all the pessimist dont even think they can make the playoffs WTF I dont get it. Their the third best team in the AFC behind the Colts and Patriots they will have the best secondary in football, the best D period and Sanchez will turn it up. Why hate?
