If you found out that a child molester lived on your street, what would you do?

When my husband and I moved into a duplex together 8 years ago, there was a 3rd level offender that moved in shortly after that was directly behind us. It was a big deal, everyone in the neighborhood knew about it and kept it a big deal. I saw him a few times, it was a bit unsettling, but we had a tight-knit neighborhood so that did help make me feel more safe. Granted, this was before I had a child. Either way, I don't think I'd let them "win" and make me move, I'd just be extremely cautious and make sure everyone in the neighborhood was the same.
